Where is consciousness would be one of the biggest questions that scientists look into.
And they look in many places, including the brain and it seems to be where most of their focus is, looking for consciousness within the brain.
When you start doing a bit of reading and research and getting your information and knowledge from many sources, what becomes apparent is that consciousness is not in the brain.
It would be the same as looking for the cell phone network in an iphone, it’s just not there. You’ll find the workings of the phone, electricity moving around it, signals giving off, Wi-Fi, electromagnetic fields but it doesn’t matter how hard you look and what experiments you do, the cell phone network will never be found inside the phone.
It’s the same with us and consciousness, you just won’t find it inside us, for its an information field that we move about in and the brain is the connection between us and that information field we call consciousness.
It’s the same as looking for the human missing link, for when you understand how things evolve, there is a very very slow development and increase and then there is a jump. And when the jump occurs you get a gap. So the missing human link, will more than likely never be found.
It’s the same as when you are evolving in your learning, you increase your knowledge, increase your knowledge, increase your knowledge, then all of a sudden, bang, your understanding takes a leap, and that leap in understanding can literally happen overnight.
With sport, you see the same thing happen in skill development, you develop and practice new skills, develop and practice new skills, develop and practice new skills, then bang, your game shifts to a new level.
Development doesn’t happen in a linear way, it is more like steps, so the acquisition of knowledge and information is the building structure for those leaps of improvements to happen
