I’ve got something for psychologists and scientist to get their teeth into, if they haven’t already done so,
I’d like to postulate that:
Everyone has psychological needs and how they fulfil those psychological needs will depend on what mind aspects they are working from.
For what I can see is that the psychological needs don’t change, but how they are fulfilled does, and by how they are fulfilled will influence how the surrounding environment is effected
If people are working from aspects of a Succeeding Mind they will look to fulfil their psychological needs in a positive constructive way for others and if they are working from aspects of a Failing Mind they will fulfil their psychological needs in a negative selfish detrimental destructive way for others.
It’s a big call, though as a coach if it can be worked out and understood what each players psychological needs they are trying to fulfil are and what mind aspects they are working to, without hardly even knowing them, you can work out very quickly which direction they will take your team.
This is where I don’t like political correctness for it pushes people towards the aspects of a Failing Mind and hence they will look to fulfil their psychological needs in a negative selfish and detrimental destructive way for others.
The take away of all this is this is that:
Psychological needs don’t change, mind aspects does and will affect how people fulfil their psychological needs
