It’s always good having a project or 2 on the go, in some cases many projects, for one it makes life interesting, and two, one will never get bored, as one always has threads on the go, and for those whose remember, 2 months ago I said I was going to change to a Linux operating system, well now the first part of the project has been completed.
I’ve had going to a Linux Operating system in the back of my mind for a while, and it was the latest round of windows 10 updates which forced my hand, so hence the new project, re going to linux, and the following clip by Jimmy at Bright Insight expresses the frustration felt by many.

The change hasn’t been all plain sailing, and I haven’t done it all by myself, and in learning a new system always takes time, though the more one works with it, the easier the system becomes as one becomes more familiar with the names and workings of different things.
I’m even back to using an older laptop that was made useless as it froze and wouldn’t load up because of the forced upload a couple of years ago from windows 7 to windows 10, so as an upshot, on the front end in reading this, one may not notice too much of a difference, though I assure you, behind the scenes, big changes are being made.
Now Linux may not be for everyone, though it will become more and more relevant for more and more people as time goes by.
