If you do have health issues and one’s life isn’t in immediate danger and you want to begin improving one’s general health, one of the first place to visit is what one is eating.
For the food and liquid that one consumes plays a bigger role in one’s health than the medical profession would ever care to admit, and again, like always, I’m not dispensing any medical advice, just information that I come across and experiences from my own personal journey, for everyone has to come to their own conclusion, being that as it may, what I’ve found is that diet is one of the biggest contributing factors to one’s health.
For those that aren’t aware, I used to have bad bouts of pleurisy, which just slowly built up over time, until the last 3 or 4 years of me having attacks when it just got worse and worse, cause when one is lying in bed at 3am in the morning, one is shallow breathing, hearts racing at about 130 – 140 beats per minute and you have stabbing pains shifting round your rib cage, it ain’t much fun.
Before I knew any better about what was causing the pleurisy, my first place to go was the doctor, as it should have been, but after 3 or 4 bad bouts and finally saying the pleurisy’s viral and I’ve just got to ride it out, that’s when my study really cranked up, and to cut a long story short, I basically stopped eating things which created mucus, which is pretty much any modern processed food, including sugar, breads, cereal, dairy and excess salt.
No More Mucus
Is Dairy Dangerous?
How does sugar effect mucus?
Foods to avoid that causes phlegm and mucus
And since I like reading, here’s a couple of books that opened up the concept for me, and as you’ll see, it’s not a new idea.

And by being sick, what it forced me to do was it pushed me back to basically a diet that mainly consisted of fruit and vegetables plus to look at natural supplementation and in the process cleared up other issues as well, including tooth decay and arthritic type conditions.
So if one does have mucus issues, start looking into what causes mucus and begin looking at your diet as a first path to see if it is part of creating the mucus effect and one may not have to cut out everything as I still eat eggs.
If one has got health issues and got time, begin investigating what one eats, for it could be the major cause of a lot of one’s problem, start the study and see if it rings true
