The best thing about starting with an unknown is in solving problem, and so it is with coaching, for if one wants to solve Coachings engagement problem, one has to create a self-organising culture
It appears that the way one goes about establishing a self-organising culture is to work to 2 simple steps, they being:
Set a clear focus
Set a few simple rules
And there appears to be at least 3 steps for the growing and improving a self-organising culture, with them being:
Allow Local Interaction
Small Amount Of Randomness (eg: ideas and questions)
And as the coach, one becomes the facilitator in making it all happen, because if one wants to become an effective coach, begin learning about how self-organising systems work, because it is what nature and our universe is built upon.

Though it appears very simple, there is a lot of dynamics involved which one must know and understand, and when done right, a self-organising culture stands heads and shoulders above an Authoritarian Culture in terms of the number of people actively contributing and truly benefitting.
If one wants to become an effective coach, begin learning about how self-organising systems work, it’s what nature and our universe is built upon, because what emerges out of a self-organising system is always greater than the sum of its parts
