Roundup time, especially around the herbicide and how much is used and getting into the foods that we eat, though that’s an interesting topic for another day, no this roundup revolves around the body and health. So let’s begin.
The body is a self-contained Eco-system and a self-healing organism and if one feeds what runs the body, the body will run itself.
And what runs the body is the gut, the liver, the immune system and the nervous system, and what feeds the body through the foods we eat and consume are proteins, complex carbohydrates, good fats, vitamins, minerals and digestive enzymes.
The diet that comes through time and time again which feeds the body is one that consists mainly of a plant based diet, and with our soils being depleted, one will have to take nutrient supplementation so that one can gain the required minerals and vitamins that their body needs and requires.
There are two types of nutrients, macro and micro, with the macro nutrients being the building blocks for our bodies, and they consist of the proteins, complex carbohydrates and good fats we consume.
And the micro nutrients are the minerals and vitamins we consume, and they act as a lubricant which makes out body work better.
The digestive enzymes have an important role to play and are activated by the minerals and vitamins and they break down the macro nutrients so the body can use them in building up, maintaining and repairing itself.
It is important to realize that all bodies are different, and react differently to the same material taken, so what is good for one body, may not be as much benefit to another, and one body may require more of a particular nutrient, and less of another than someone else may take.
And in anyone’s recovery process, it always pays to start slow and with the least amount, and buildup, for someone maybe able to tolerate a tablespoon of something, and someone else only half a teaspoon of the same stuff.
Someone may be able to tolerate 3 tablets of something, and someone else only a half a tablet, it all depends on the bodies makeup and how the bodies systems use and react to what is being put inside.
And always remember, nothing works in isolation, so learn to listen to ones body, it’s always telling a story and quietly talking away, and we have the conscious choice to listen or not.
That’s the roundup done, and with a basic understanding one can begin delving into the details which is going to suit their own particular body, and if one starts to get lost in the myriad of all the details, one can always come back to the grounding that we begin with.
