Pointless, some pursuits are, some pursuits aren’t, it depends on one’s perspective and what one is trying to get out of things.
For watching movies for the sake of watching movies could be considered a pointless exercise, though one could be watching those same movies for the truths that are within, then it’s not such a pointless exercise, for as the saying goes – Truth in Movies, Lies in the News.
And there are lots of good positive aspects to being at school, though in terms of education and preparing one with practical information for living life, it just leads one down a blind cul-de-sac.
Most will know by now that I don’t watch any TV except for the times I’m somewhere and they have it one, and each time one sees it, you just go, this has got worse.
For example, recently there was an add for life insurance aimed at adults, yet the language used and the presentation of it, I thought I was watching a Telly Tubbies episode for adults, it was that bad.
