It’s always interesting going on the internet, seeing how things are developing and what is bubbling up from the grass roots, and one thing that is bubbling up and gaining more traction and that is the concept of the Learning Environment.
It may not sound like much, but when it begins to be applied to the sporting environment, it means a major shift is happening and underway and if one wants to be successful now a days one has to deliberately cultivate a learning environment.
For you only have to go back 5 years, and pretty much all coaches assumed that everyone who played sport wanted to learn and improve, though as we all know by now that that is one of the greatest myths in sport.
And merely by looking around I’ve come across a couple of people who have explored and implemented the very subject of a learning environment and how one goes about creating it for sport.
