How does one keep being successful once one achieves? In other words, the cure for complacency
This is the very question that Rasmus Ankersen asked.
And in his new soon to be released book – Hunger in Paradise, he looks to answer this very question, for success and abundance kills the desire to achieve.
It’s a book I’ll be adding to my must read list when it’s released but until then check out Rasmus’s website and a couple of talks he’s given on the subject of Hunger in Paradise.

A couple of ways to keep striving are as follows:
Keep resetting goals
Compete to better yourself rather than beat others
Redefine what it means to be successful
The problem with reaching the top is that one can lose the focus they had in striving to reach their goal, for Rasmus put it in his talk, is that the mountain that one has just climbed, may have only been a small hill towards the next peak to conquer.
Getting to the top is easy; it’s staying at the top which is the real hard part
