It is one thing in knowing how to recognise and to deal with Needy People, but another equally important aspect is in knowing what goes into creating Needy People.
Because once you know what goes into creating Needy People, you can change that aspect as well.
A lot of the things that goes into creating Needy People are invisible and hidden and that is why most struggle to see the influence exerted onto people to turn them into being needy.
Invisible Influence – Johan Berger
And a lot of the influence in creating Needy People is societal and is driven by people and cooperate identities who sole focus is in making bags and bags of money and don’t care how they make it and the impact that they have, because:
If you want to make lots of money, you have to create a society in which people just want to consume and consume and consume.
You have to create people who are narcissistic and sociopathic, in other words you create the me, me, me society.
You influence people to have their needs fulfilled from external things, so they always keep buying because external things never fulfil your internal needs.
You have to create people who are emotionally drive and do things on impulse and being emotionally driven, you can influence their emotions to put them in a constant state of fear and panic.
So you start coming across people like Edward Bernays
And you start seeing the social influence and the hidden hand that has been guiding society to create a certain out come to only benefit a few through the manufacture of consent.
All of this stuff could get you down if you let it, but it becomes important to know and understand this information, for with information comes understanding and power, which you can use destructively or wisely and if you want to make positive changes and the way to not to let it get you down is simply to adopt this philosophy:
I see and recognise the negative, but choose to focus on the positive
