Being an avid reader, over time one collects a lot of books on multiple topics, and as time goes by one can begin crafting books by different authours into groupings which applies to the crafting of a Learning Environment.
The following is a collection of 6 books, and though by different authours on different subjects and topics, when pulled together, helps to begin understanding what goes into crafting a learning environment.
Quiet Leadership – David Rock
Every Word Has Power – Yvonne Oswald
The Power Of Framing – Gail Fairfurst
Influncer, the power to change anything – Various
The Influential Mind – Tali Sharot
Conscious Coaching – Brett Bartholomew
For as I’ve mentioned many times before, the biggest fallacy in sport is that anyone who plays wants to learn and improve, so as a coach, one has to learn how to craft an environment which enables and makes it inevitable for the learning process to happen.
And in the words of Simon Sinek:
If you don’t understand people, you don’t understand business
So the upshot of it all, as well as understanding about all the skills, techniques and tactics of whatever one does, in becoming a better coach, teacher or facilitator, one must come to understand people better, including yourself
