The great thing about reading books is passing knowledge from one person to the next, and like any written word, whoever writes it never knows who or whom is going to read it and implement what they have written.
And that’s why I love reading, for through passing knowledge on through books, the ideas that someone has, can add to the ideas that you have to create something new, and it’s this passing knowledge which expands one’s awareness which goes into create a new whole.
The following is a selection of books which has helped to expand my own understanding of who we are, how we learn and the process which goes into creating better players.
The Brain – David Eagleman
The Power Of Unlimited Imagination – Neville Goddard
Mindset – Carol Dweck
How We Learn -Benedict Carey
The Little Book Of Talent – Daniel Coyle
Grit – Angela Duckworth
Curious – Ian Leslie
Drive – Dan Pink
I’m still reading books on the creation of a learning environment, and when I finish them, I will give my recommendation on which ones I have found the best.
It’s through passing knowledge on, that those who come after can expand their own awareness on which ever topic they choose and to build onto what they are building
