Beginning, it’s always there in one form or another, and the coaching process is no different, though at the moment we are all thrown into the middle when we start, and it’s no wonder people flounder around for a long time before they begin to come to grips with the process.
So for those just beginning on the coaching path, or those that have been there for a while and still trying to find their feet, the following two sentences should help to clarify the coaching process, in that:
“All coaching is trial and error”
“90% of Coaching Sport is Fitness, Core Skills, Playing Structure and Understanding People and we spend 90% of our time developing the other 10%”
And of course a good coach always has a philosophy about what they do
And then we begin the process of putting it all together
For the beginning of the coaching process should always be in understanding the bigger picture, because:
All coaching is trial and error and 90% of Coaching Sport is Fitness, Core Skills, Playing Structure and Understanding People and we spend 90% of our time developing the other 10%
