It’s been just over 5 years since I’ve had a major crash in my overall heath, and since that time, I changed what I eat and drink, so I could begin to obtain optimal health so I could begin to function in day to day life.
And one of the biggest indicators for my increasing health is in my preparation for the next years sports season, in other words the work I put in over summer.
For over the last 5 years, the length of time and the speed at which I can increase what I do has got quicker and quicker over those 5 years where over the summer months I am now running 3 days a week, biking 2 days as well as doing a full working week, and last years, by about February, I had managed to build up my longest run to an hour, whereas this year I’m already at that, and my target for my longest run is now 2 hours, and the majority of the improvement has been bought about by changing what I eat and drink, for I found what works for my body and experimented to get it right.
The following interview and podcast by Joe Rogan does go for 3:47:48, though one only has to listen to the first 10 minutes to see that trying to create a one diet fits all, is a pure minefield and will be detrimental to the overall health of most people, again, one has to find out what suits themselves.

I know we’ll all have different food and dietary requirements and we should see doctors when we need to, though the basis of good health seems to follow a common thread and theme, with it being:
Eat more fruits and vegetables
Get the appropriate balance of mineral and vitamin supplements right for yourself
And as always mentioned, everyone is different, so what will nourish and supply one individual, may not be adequate for another and this is why each individual has to take responsibility for their health, for the one who knows their body best is yourself, and when looking at your health, it always pays to remember:
The body is a self-contained eco-system and a self-healing organism, so if one feeds what runs the body, the body will run itself
